New Delhi: Bajaj Auto Ltd executive director, Rakesh Sharma, outlined a product plan while speaking at the company’s Q2 FY26 analyst call. This includes three new Pulsars, an all-new ICE motorcycle brand, a new Chetak EV and a sub-350 cc KTM-Triumph motorcycle.

Bajaj is also preparing for the launch of an entirely new ICE brand in order to broaden their motorcycle base beyond the Pulsar. Rakesh Sharma noted that the project would be revealed soon. However, he has said that the project will happen in the next fiscal year.

There are three new Pulsar models are set to debut starting this December. This will be followed by updated versions of the sporty commuter and performance range scheduled for March and May 2026. Sharma felt that the positive market sentiment, along with GST-linked affordability improvements, are good catalyst to attract customers to the Pulsar lineup.

Bajaj is also preparing to bring an all-new Chetak EV by early 2026, and Sharma noted that the brand aims to keep their leading position here. The coming of an all-new model early next year, along with the widening Chetak network, is expected to reinforce the brand’s leadership position.

Currently, Chetak operates through 390 exclusive outlets and over 4,000 sales points in 800 cities, forming the foundation for its next phase of EV growth. A new Chetak prototype was recently seen testing, and most likely will be the next model.

With India’s revised GST framework, which imposes an 18 per cent tax on bikes under 350cc and 40 per cent on those above, Bajaj and their partners KTM and Triumph are working on a new range of sub-350cc motorcycles. Sharma felt that even though there cannot be a timeline for this, the work will be delivered at a high pace.
