New Delhi: BMW Group India is giving its customers something extra to cheer about this festive season. The German luxury carmaker has announced revised ex-showroom prices across its lineup after GST 2.0, effective 22 September 2025. In some cases, the price drop is as high as ₹13.6 lakh.
The company is also rolling out its usual festive finance schemes, but the headline remains the tax-related reductions. From compact sedans like the 2 Series to flagship models such as the 7 Series and M8, the new prices are expected to draw strong interest at dealerships just ahead of Dussehra and Diwali.
The 3 Series Long Wheelbase and the 5 Series Long Wheelbase have seen prices come down by more than ₹3.5 lakh. The sporty M340i xDrive is now ₹7.39 lakh, a reduction of over ₹4 lakh, making it a tempting option for performance buyers.
Among SUVs, the BMW X5 range is now cheaper by nearly ₹8 lakh depending on the variant, while the massive X7 has dropped to ₹12.54 lakh from ₹13.44 lakh earlier. The popular X1, often considered the entry point into the BMW SUV family, is now available starting at ₹50.6 lakh.
The reductions extend even to BMW’s high-performance M lineup. The M2 has dropped by almost ₹6 lakh, while the flagship M8 now costs ₹2.38 crore, down from ₹2.52 crore.
Interestingly, the electric models such as the iX1, i5, iX, and i7 remain unchanged in pricing. That suggests BMW is holding firm on its EV positioning in India, even as rivals have announced price adjustments on battery-powered cars.
The changes aren’t limited to BMW. MINI India has reduced the prices of its Cooper S range by ₹2.5–3 lakh depending on the pack. On the two-wheeler side, BMW Motorrad has also trimmed prices on models like the G 310 RR and C 400 GT scooter.

Festive car buying in India is often linked with big-ticket purchases, and this timing could help BMW attract new customers who were hesitant due to pricing. For enthusiasts, especially those considering performance cars like the M340i or M2, these reductions make the entry cost lighter without compromising on features or performance.
