New Delhi: BMW have brought the G 310 RR Limited Edition to mark the 10,000 unit sales milestone of the standard model. It is limited to just 310 units. The special edition now comes with cosmetic upgrades as well, which makes it stand out from the standard bike, though mechanically it is the same.

The BMW G 310 RR comes with a special paint scheme with a black, red and blue colour scheme, much like BMW’s M performance models, like the M 1000 RR. Each unit gets a numbered tank badge to mark their exclusive nature in the 310 production run.

TVS Apache RR 310 came with enhanced features and a powertrain

It is a far cry from the TVS Apache RR 310, which came with engine enhancements like a boost of 38bhp and 29 Nm of torque. It also had added features like bi-directional quickshifter, cruise control, launch control and cronering drag torque. BMW have given it nothing of that sort and comes with the same 313 cc single-cylinder engine making 34bhp and 27.3 Nm.

The motorcycle also misses a few visual updates like the winglets, transparent clutch cover and new alloy wheels that are added to the Apache RR 310. BMW are pricing it at Rs 2.99 lakh, which is Rs 18,000 more than the standard model.
