New Delhi: Ducati have launched the Scramble 10° Anniversario Rizoma Edition, priced at Rs 17.10 lakh (ex-showroom price). The Scramble Rizoma celebrates 10 years of the brand’s entry-level model, and though it is the same mechanically as the standard to other versions, it comes with Rizoma components and a new colour scheme as well.

The Rizoma edition of the Scrambler comes with a special edition made to mark a decade of Ducati’s entry-level neo-retro model. For this version, Ducati have sprinkled Rizoma components all across the bike. These include CNC-machined billet aluminium adjustable levers, brake and clutch reservoir caps, fuel filler and passenger footpegs.

The Scramble Rizoma edition comes with bespoke colour called Stone White/ Metal Rose, and some parts like the windscreen, timing belt covers, frame covers, engine case covers, and rider footpegs are finished in ‘Metal Rose’ as well.

Other things are the same in the Scrambler, meaning it still comes with an 803 cc, air/oil-cooled V-twin that produces 73 bhp and 65.2 Nm of torque inside a trellis frame suspended by non-adjustable suspension. It gets the same suite of rider aids as the Scrambler lineup and gets a bidirectional quickshifter as standard. Like all Ducatis launched recently, it is E20-compliant.

Bipul Chandra, Managing Director of Ducati India, said about the launch, “The Ducati Scrambler Rizoma edition is literally an art piece rolling on two wheels. Rizoma has succeeded in the difficult task of reinterpreting the Scrambler while maintaining its essence. I am thrilled to see the rigour, the attention to detail and the cleanliness of the treatment, including the colour, that Rizoma has incorporated in the concept, which is perfect for the celebratory version of the tenth anniversary of Scrambler.”

It is limited to just 500 units across the world, however there is no confirmation how many will come in India. It is priced at Rs 17.10 lakh and is Rs 6.45 lakh more than the Scrambler Icon Dark, to which it is mechanically identical.
