New Delhi: Luxury Motorcycle Ducati have launched the all-new 2025 Multistrada V2, coming with important innovations that are making it lighter and more sophisticated. The new Multistrada V2 is aimed at versatility that comes with the twin-cylinder engine, offering with more accessible as well as exhilarating ride on all types of roads.

The Multistrada V2 becomes the first Ducati to be launched in India, featuring the all-new V2 engine, which embodies the best of Ducati’s Italian craftsmanship, offering enhanced technology and truly unmatched performance for discerning riders. It creates a new benchmark within its segment, ensuring that the Multistrada V2 family continues to deliver an elevated riding experience that seamlessly combines advanced technology, sophisticated rider aids, and unmatched power, now across an even broader spectrum of adventure.”

The new Multistrada V2 2025, Ducati is 18 kg lighter than the previous generation and comes with better handling and ease of ride. It has a segment best weight, coming at 199 kg in running order without fuel. This lightness is combined with the wide and full-bodied delivery of the variable-valve twin-cylinder V2 engine, is a good package indeed.

It comes with horizontally balanced volumes, a light and short tail, and a front are with sporty lines. It gets new headlights and DRL, taking cues from the latest-gen Panigale and Multistrada V4, all of which make it appear much more aggressive.

In terms of safety, of Multistrada V2 comes with a complete electronics package, manageable through redesigned handlebar controls and the new 5-inch TFT colour dashboard with a completely revamped multilingual interface based on three different info does. 

The Multi Strada V2 gets five Riding Modes — Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro, and Wet, helping it adapt seamlessly to any riding condition. Each mode adjusts the delivery of the engine power and throttle response with pre-set parameters that the rider can customise as well. These modes also automatically manage systems like the Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), and Engine Brake Control (EBC) to pre-defined levels that the rider can again modify.

As standard, the Multistrada V2 gets Cruise Control, a dashboard-integrated USB socket, and the Ducati Brake Light EVO system, which activates emergency flashing in case of sudden braking. The V2 S variant further gets the Ducati Multimedia System, with the option to enable Turn-by-Turn navigation. Ducati have also given it a new Coming Home feature, which keeps the low beams illuminated briefly after the ignition is turned off, lighting the area ahead after the bike has been parked.

Improved ergonomics and a reduced seat height make the new Multistrada V2 more manageable at low speeds and while stationary, allowing riders to place their feet on the ground with greater confidence.

Ducati Multistrada V2 powertrain

In terms of engine, the Multistrada V2 comes with a 90-degree V-twin, 890 cc with IVT variable intake valve timing and distribution with coil spring valve recall. The engine itself is quite lightweight and will produce around 115 bhp and 92 Nm. Like the recently launched Monster, it too comes with valve clearance at 45,000 km, making for a better benchmark.
