Mahindra’s new Vision S teaser reveals rear design elements

Mahindra reveals Vision S concept, showcasing the back of the upcoming vehicle with the new concept set to be revealed on August 15th.

New Delhi: Mahindra have unveiled more of the Vision S concept SUV with the full reveal on August 15th. The Indian carmaker have shown bits of the back of the forthcoming concept, which is expected to be a new addition to the Mahindra Scorpio brand, standing alongside Classic and Scorpio N.

In the trailer, it clearly shows the tailgate design, the trapezoidal handle for the side-hinged door and a spare wheel mounted on the boot door. The massively flared wheel arches with additional body cladding are also confirmed. Design details also include gleaned rear bumper-mounted tail-lights.

The earlier teasers had shown the bonnet of the Vision S concept SUV. What can be confirmed is that it comes with an upright nose, flared wheel arches, bonnet scoops on either side, a sealed-off front fascia, angular cladding for the wheel arches and a hooded bonnet profile. It has a much-raked wheel front windscreen and comes with off-roading tyres. 

There are no details about the Vision S at present, but it is likely to debut alongside Vision T, Vision X and Vision SXT in Mumbai on August 15th. Mahindra’s SUVs have dominated the Indian market, and in fact the car company has constantly given strong competition to best sellers like Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai.
