Hyderabad: A seven-year-old girl was pushed off a three-storey building by her mother in Vasanthapuri colony, Malkajgiri police station limits in Hyderabad, reports said.
The girl, who sustained serious injuries, died while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital.
Girl’s mother suffers from mental health issues:
According to Circle Inspector Satyanarayana, the deceased girl's parents have been living in Vasanthapuri Colony for the past 20 years. The father works in a private company and supports the family. The mother suffers from mental health issues, he said.
On Monday evening, the mother pushed the girl from the apartment building, and she fell onto the staircase of a neighbouring house. Seriously injured, she was rushed to Gandhi Hospital by locals. The girl succumbed to her injuries while receiving treatment. Malkajgiri police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
Newly-wed woman dies by suicide due to harassment:
A newly-wed woman died by suicide at her house due to alleged harassment by her in-laws. The young woman identified as Nazneen Begum, 21, was married to Ayub Jabri, a resident of Golnaka in Amberpet, only last month.
Her in-laws and husband began harassing her by demanding gold and money and threatened to kill her if she failed to bring money. Unable to bear harassment, she killed her self on Sunday. A case has been registered against Ayub Jabri.
