AP: Former YCP MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy, his brother remanded to 14-days in jail

Nellore:  Former YSRCP MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy and his brother Venkatarami Reddy have been remanded to prison for 14 days by a court in Macherla on Thursday, December 11. The accused will be sent to Nellore district jail.

It comes after the brothers surrendered to the Junior Additional Civil Judge court on Thursday morning.

The case is related to the double murder of TDP leaders and brothers Javvisetty Venkateswarlu and Koteswara Rao of Gundlapadu village, Veldurthi mandal in May 2025.

A case was registered against Pinnelli brothers and they were named as accused number 6, 7.

After the anticipatory bail petition was dismissed at AP High Court, they approached the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court directed them to surrender within two weeks.  Pinnelli brothers appeared before the court today.
