New Delhi: Harley-Davidson have expanded their brand portfolio with the return of the Street Bob 117, which will come at the price range of Rs 18.77 lakh (ex-showroom). The Street Bob had previously been sold in India with the older Milwaukee Eight 107CI motor (1,754 cc). However, for 2025, it will come with a 117CI (1,923 cc) engine like the rest of the big cruisers from Harley.

Like the rest of the 2025 big cruisers, the Street Bob is also powered by the same 1,923 cc, V-Twin, air/liquid-cooled motor that produces a decent 91 bhp at 5,020 rpm and comes with a huge torque of 156 Nm in 2,750 rpm. The 2-litre engine is paired with the six-speed gearbox. It gets a non-adjustable 49mm conventional telescopic fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock to suspend over the tubular cradle-style frame. The Street Bob gets a single disc each at the front and the back.

Harley-Davidson Street Bob design and features

Visually, Street Bob hasn’t changed a lot since the last time it was seen, with the exception of new colours. Along with a long, low-stance and the mini ape-hanger bars, the Street Bob is without a doubt a proper Harley Davidson, although it is much lighter and slimmer even than the rest of the bikes in the brand’s portfolio.

Per se, the only difference from its previous version is that the 2025 Street Bob gets a chromed-out two-into-one longtail exhaust pipe setup, as opposed to the previous one’s blacked-out two-into-two configuration.

While it may have simple components, the 2025 Street Bob gets a good suite of rider assists, which include three riding modes which are Sport, Road and Rain. It further gets drag torque slip control (a system that doesn’t allow rear wheel locking and hopping during aggressive downshifts), traction control, cruise control and dual-channel ABS.

These riding aids also get cornering functionality thanks to the IMU (Inertia Measurement Unit). Display is back to the digital-analogue, which replaces the LCD dash and is much easier to read.

With the rather smaller 13.2 litre fuel tank completely filled, it weighs 293 kg, which means it is the lightest Harley to come with this engine configuration. Seat height is set quite low at 680 mm, and the Street Bob has a low ground clearance of 125 mm, though better than the likes of Breakout and Heritage Classic. It comes with five colours no,w and the pricing depends on that.

2025 Harley-Davidson Street Bob 117 comes with five new colours

Billiard Grey comes at no extra charge. Vivid Black will set you at a premium of Rs 10,000 while Centeline or yellow costs Rs 14,000. Both Iron Horse Metallic and Purple Abyss Denim cost Rs 16,000.

The Street Bob comes with 19.16-inch cast alloy wheels as standard, along with a slim 100-section tyre on the front and a 150-section rear hoop. For Rs 87,000, these can be replaced with accessory cross-spoke wheels from the Motor Co. There are load of Harley-Davidson accessories that can be availed with an extra price, of course. Coming below Rs 20 lakh, it is the most affordable Softail and is a bargain for many.
