New Delhi: Following the launch of the Xtreme 125R with ride-by-wire, cruise control as well as riding modes, Hero have now brought these features to the Xtreme 160R 4V as well in the form of Combat Edition. It comes with a grey and yellow paint scheme and a new headlight as well.

Quite like the Xoom 110 and Karizma XMR Combat Editions, the Xtreme 160R’s special edition also gets a grey and yellow paint scheme. Along with this, the Combat Edition comes with ride-by-wire, cruise-control and riding modes, which are Rain, Road and Sport, which are all controlled through a new colour-LCD dash that is shared with the Xtreme 250R.

It also takes the headlight from the 250R’s LED projector unit that adds ‘H’ DRL, bringing it in line with other new Hero models and replaces the reflector-based LED. Hero has only listed all the features on their website, but the pricing is yet to be mentioned. It is expected to be launched in India in the immediate future.

While the pricing isn’t known, the Xtreme 125R top-spec is priced Rs 12,000 above the trim below it, and Hero might bring a similar pricing strategy with the 160R 4V as well. At present, the Xtreme 160R 4V is priced at Rs 1.30 lakh.
