Hyderabad: Temperatures have plummeted across the state, with Komarambheem Asifabad district in North Telangana recording 8.7°C on Monday night, the lowest temperature of the season so far.
Adilabad recorded 10.2°C followed by Nirmal with 11.7°C, Kamareddy, Sangareddy recorded 12°C while Medak, Siddipet, Rangareddy recorded 13°C.
In Hyderabad, Serilingampally recorded 13.4°C followed by Rajendranagar, Gachibowli, Maredpally, Gajularamaram, Neredmet and Begumpet.
Minimum temperatures likely to be below normal by 2°C to 3°C:
Misty, hazy conditions are likely to prevail during morning and night on Tuesday in Hyderabad. Minimum temperatures are likely to be below normal by 2°C to 3°C over the next couple of days, India Meteorological Department said. Minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to be around 17°C and 31°C respectively. Surface winds are likely to be Northerlies/North-easterlies with wind speed of around 4-8 kmph.
A cold wave alert has been issued for several districts statewide from November 11-19 as single digit temperatures are expected in districts of north Telangana. Hyderabad will likely see 11-14°C morning temperatures in the same period.
