New Delhi: Lexus India have started deliveries of the highly anticipated LM 350h, which the brand says will change the luxury segment of the MPVs. Lexus have been growing as a brand in the country, and the LM 350h shows the importance of the Indian market for the brand.
With the demand for luxury MPVs increasing, the LM 350h has received a good response in India since its debut. It comes with an E20-compliant engine, reflecting the brand’s focus on sustainability standards and making it technically upgraded for the current convenience.
Further enhancements include a power sliding door switch that has been integrated into the rear console, along with an auto-dimming outside rearview mirror function in the four-seater trim and a rear console tray designed for the rear-seat passengers in the four-seater configuration.
President of Lexus India, Mr Hikaru Ikeuchi, in his statement said, “We are truly humbled by the overwhelming response from our guests to the Lexus LM 350h and wish to sincerely thank our customers for their patience in waiting for this exceptional vehicle. The LM is a testament to our unwavering commitment to luxury, featuring grand interiors and an exclusive private lounge that redefines comfort and sophistication. It sets a new benchmark in first-class luxury travel, offering our guests an unparalleled experience of refinement, prestige, and indulgence in India.”
The vehicle is going to be placed in the ultra-luxury mobility segment, meant for travel experience in premium. Lexus had come to India back in 2017 and at present offers five vehicles, with four of them being self-charging hybrid electric models. The brand even brought their first locally made ES 300h in 2020 and is still quite a popular vehicle in the country at present.
The company itself came into existence in 1989 and at present functions in 90 countries and has at present sold 2 million hybrid vehicles across the globe since bringing the first luxury hybrid model.
